I haven’t been able to identify what, specifically, this creature is. If anyone knows what it is, please speak up and let me know. icon smile Project #365 Day 86 Fifty five, fifty six, fifty seven, fifty...

Meanwhile, I’ve found these things in all three of our houses here. In our second house, I found dozens to hundreds all over the floors nearly every day. One day when we had a lady in to clean the house, she said to wash the floors with lots of dish soap and not to rinse it off and the millipedes wouldn’t come back.

She did that, and she was right. As long as we washed the floors her way, we never had problems with the millipedes in our house again. icon smile Project #365 Day 86 Fifty five, fifty six, fifty seven, fifty... Oh yes, that is true happiness making. icon biggrin Project #365 Day 86 Fifty five, fifty six, fifty seven, fifty...

Fahim tells me they’re locally called something like hakarella. He’s busy working, so I can’t get a definitive sort of close-ish spelling at the moment.
