CPAP Machine Died

That’s it, it’s no more.
I’ve talked about CPAP machines before and gave an explanation as to why I use it and why it’s necessary. Check it out if you’re interested in knowing what it’s for. I don’t feel like repeating myself.
And I’ve also talked previously about how it’s started having problems.
When I turn it on, it beeps and gives an error message. In the past, I could unplug it, which effectively reset it, plug it back in, and try again. Usually, that was enough - it would start right back up again properly.
Last night? Oh, no. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.
Turn it on, beeping noise with error message. Unplug it. Try again. Rinse and Repeat.
Tried it about, oh, 40 times.
Dead dead dead dead dead.
Fahim then says to me this morning, as I’m typing this, that he’ll take it to work and see if someone there can fix it. Well, sure, why not? Nothing to lose. If they wreck it, well, it’s already dead. If they can’t fix it, well, it’s already dead. If they can fix it, cool.
See, it’s out of its warranty period by about four years. It’s scheduled to die anytime - they last five to ten years, and I’ve have it for six. It owes me nothing.
We’ll see.
Meanwhile, I ain’t holding my breath.
Oh wait. I am. Nuts!
Yeah, I know, a little sick apnea humour there.
