And for the record, I’ve now been here in Sri Lanka for 5 months.

Which also means that today, Fahim and I have been married for 5 months. It also means that our gas cannister, since it lasts about 2 1/2 months, is due to run out.

It ran out.

In the middle of cooking Fahim’s cabbage curry. See, mine was already done and segregated. Fahim’s was still cooking. On no flames. :)

Fahim turns the gas cannister over, hoping to get more out of it. No dice. It’s dead. So he switches it for me, and I keep cooking Fahim’s cabbage. For another half hour. He likes dead veggies. Sigh.
