Take care of your joints and they’ll take care of you

I have this funny joint problem. They’re loose. Pretty much all of them.
I can pop out my fingers, toes, wrists, shoulders, and hips with no difficulty or pain at all. I occasionally pop out my knee, but that one actually hurts. Ribs have been known to dislocate (perhaps I mean separate? I’m no doctor.) when I have a bad cough. I have loose ligments. Or tendons. Whichever one it is. I tend to get them confused.
Anyway, my shoulder popped out yesterday, and not in one of those oh, no big deal ways, but in a oh no, it went back in in the wrong direction kind of way. I don’t know whether something’s caught, or a muscle is in spasms, or what it is, but it’s hurting a bit. Can’t move my arm in certain directions without pain.
This happens every now and then. Usually to my hip joints when I sleep on a water bed or something else that’s too soft. Usually, I just relax for a while, maybe several hours, maybe a day, and it goes away or gets all better or it’s magically fixed by the elves living in the kitchen cupboards.
I’m just irritated by it.
I asked Fahim to pull my arm out - cuz sometimes that helps - so it would snap back in in the right direction. He tried, but he’s so worried about causing me further damage that he really wasn’t effective at all. I mean, he didn’t even get it out of joint. Oh well. Maybe I should go and pick up something really really heavy - that ought to do the trick.
Or maybe we’ll just let it go for a while then and see what happens.
