Dead Veggies

We unload the groceries, and I make lunch. Or did I make lunch before we went shopping?

I don’t honestly know anymore.

Oh, wait, yes, I do. I cooked up the beets in a beet curry, and we bought them today, therefore I made lunch after grocery shopping.

And when I say "we unload the groceries", I really mean Fahim dumps his bags in the living room beside the sofa, I take them and mine into the kitchen, and I unload them and put everything away. While we uses any excuse he can to not do it by doing anything he can think of to avoid having to do it. Including playing computer games. "Oh, honey, I can’t help right now - I’m really busy. Killing that dragon." Uh huh.

And yes, that is an actual excuse he’s used.

Where was I? I stepped away for one minute to check on the soup.

Oh, yeah, I remember where I was going with this.

I made lunch.

Only, as it turns out, this didn’t happen on Saturday. What can I say? I get confused easily, especially if I’m writing a day or two after the fact. Yes, laugh. Go ahead. I dare you.

So the rest of what I wrote in this section has been snipped out and relocated to Sunday. That would be 07th December 2003. That Sunday. Under the heading of, um, now I have to make it up, let’s say, Dead Veggies. Yeah, that works for me.
