Vehicles Powered by Motors Are Considered Optional

I’ve talked briefly about this before. There are all sorts of vehicles on the roads here. And I’m really not referring to just the side streets such as the ones on either side of our house - I mean all streets, major as well.
I’ve seen people pushing/pulling carts like this one on the major streets.
It’s kinda interesting the variety of vehicles that exist over here.
I should mention the purpose behind these carts. Sometimes, they’ll be selling firewood for wood cooking stoves. Or buy paper - newspaper - which they’ll in turn sell to someone else. Or . . . I don’t know much more. Wait until I learn Sinhalese, eh?
