Oatmeal Cake

I also made an oatmeal cake. I made it earlier in the month with cocoa, turning it into a Chocolate Oatmeal Cake. It was pretty good. I opted to not go with the chocolate option, but that wasn’t really so much of a choice - we’re out of cocoa, and we haven’t done our weekly grocery shopping. Kinda hard when Fahim feels as bad as he does. I suspect I’ll go to the store by myself tomorrow and pick up a bunch of stuff.

But I had leftover chocolate fudge frosting, so I heated that up so it became spreadable, then poured it onto the cake. It solidified after a few minutes, and yep, it’s good.

The unfortunate part of all this is that Fahim can’t have any until he’s feeling better. Aw, poor baby. I guess I’ll just have to have some without you. Poor baby.
