More on Power Outages

Fahim woke up at 4am again. He’s continuing the fast for an additional six days - it’s an optional extension of Ramadan. Unfortunately, he’s not feeling well. I question the wisdom of him fasting in his condition, but he insists that if it gets bad enough, he’ll stop. I still worry.
I go back to bed at about 4:45am, throw yon CPAP mask on my face, and try to fall asleep. Fahim comes back to bed sometime after that. Then the power goes out.
Fahim, of course, doesn’t notice it. I, of course, do. Because, as I have mentioned previously, I wake up as soon as the power goes out because I no longer have air coming through my CPAP machine. I mention the power outage to Fahim, who appears vaguely awake.
My alarm goes off at 6:15am, which is early enough for Fahim to say his prayers. He then comments on the power outage. Uh, yeah, honey. Already knew about it.
Apparently, him appearing vaguely awake actually means talking in his sleep, which he does occasionally. Too much information?
To tell you the truth, I’m not feeling entirely well myself, but I’ll be okay because I’m at home, I can rest if I need to, and I’m not fasting, so I can do whatever I need to to take care of myself. Fahim can’t. He has to go to work today. Festival is over. Although Fahim did say that he’ll probably go to work this morning, see how much work there is, and come home fairly shortly thereafter.
Right now, he’s napping. It’s 7:36am, the power came back on about ten minutes ago, and he’s asleep. Which is probably the best thing for him.
