Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Oh, and coconut oil.

For lunch and dinner we have rather unremarkable meals. We, or I should actually say I, make soup. Ramen noodles with vegetables, then two eggs tossed in at the last moment for protein. As I said, rather unremarkable. But I don’t feel like doing anything else.

In the late afternoon, we do our grocery shopping at Food City. We buy some more fish – red cuttlefish (red squid – does it taste any different? I don’t know. We’ll soon find out.), tuna (and it’s not white or even light colored – it’s also red. Different variety than what’s sold in cans in North America? Or different part of the body?) We buy our vegetables and fruit, and coconut oil.

A comment about coconut oil. Food City is air conditioned – it sits at around 26 celsius, and I find it comfortably cool (talk about adapting). At this temperature, the coconut oil is solid in the plastic containers. By the time we get it home, it’s half melted. A few hours later, it’s totally melted. It’s not even that hot of a day. A few degrees, and that’s it.
